START OVER Time Warner Cable of Central Texas has introduced a new feature called "Start Over". Start Over gives Time Warner Digital Cable customers the ability to restart some programs on participating cable networks even if they tune to the network after the program has started. The feature is free and does not require a DVR. Viewers will be alerted to Start Over enabled programs when they tune to one by an icon in the lower left corner of the screen. The feature is accessed by pressing the Select button on the cable remote control while watching the program. Programs that allow Start Over can be restarted multiple times within their normal broadcast time. Viewers can also REWIND the show while it's playing, PAUSE it, and RESUME the program -- change the channel then come back within 5 minutes to where they left off in the Start Over program as long as the show is still in its original broadcast window.
The following networks are offering some Start Over enabled programming:
Showtime
The Movie Channel
TNT
USA
Comedy
