An undercover trafficking investigation led to a large marijuana bust Friday in Killeen.
The Bell County District Attorney's office charged 24-year-old Robert Michael Boyd Friday in connection with an undercover narcotics trafficking investigation.
Boyd was arrested leaving a home near the corner of Gus Drive and Lori Drive.
Killeen Police said following a search of the home, they seized 96 pounds of marijuana, along with $5,000 cash.
In another incident, KPD stopped three cars on South Fort Hood Street Wednesday, seizing a total of 23 pounds of marijuana and $10,000.
Officers made five arrests from those stops.
Their arrests led them to investigate a home on Janell in Copperas Cove where they said they found 117 pounds of pot, and another $10,500 in cash.
All five suspects face federal charges.
Tyrone Pinkett of Killeen was charged with possession of over 50 pounds of marijuana, and possession of a firearm by a felon.
The other suspects are Gary Jones and Kedrick Blacknell of Killeen, along with Ray Abel of Temple, and Latoya Bell of Fort Hood, who were charged with possession of marijuana.
They're all being held in a federal jail in Waco.
