Sunny Days Continue
After a beautiful afternoon on Tuesday, we have subtle changes to contend with during the next 24 hours. Tuesday's highs in the upper 70s made it the warmest day since mid-November.
A weak cold front will approach overnight, bringing clouds back after midnight. There could be some patches of drizzle by daybreak. A line of showers should cross through the region on Wednesday, but we are forecasting a slim 20% chance for rain. Most areas will be rain-free, and if you do have a shower where you are, it will be brief. The front will move through quickly and the rest of the day will be partly sunny. Temperatures will remain mild, in the mid 70s.
Tranquil and mild weather will dominate the balance of the work week. High pressure will stick around through the weekend, yielding to ample sunshine in the extended outlook.
Busy Weekend Good thing the weather will cooperate, since there's a lot going on this weekend This includes "take 2" of the Zilker Kite Festival, along with the start of SXSW. To help you plan for these activities, check out the 8-day forecast.
