Voters' Voices: First US election for Chinese family
(Part 2) Max Ma and his wife Helen Jia became American citizens in September. The couple left China 10 years ago. This November will be the first time in their lives either can vote. Now they're enjoying that right and the right to speak freely in a democracy.

News 8 Austin searched for four random families during the Fourth of July celebration at Auditorium Shores to profile and feature in our Voters’ Voices series. We found families with varying cultural, economic, political and social differences to give us their views on personal politics and the upcoming general election in November. |
