A toddler fell into a South Austin pool Monday, and was taken to the hospital.
The little boy's mother said she found him about three minutes after she realized he was missing. However, the Austin Police Department said they have no idea how long he was in water.
APD said at first, the boy didn't have a pulse. His mother, police and emergency medical services performed CPR and were able to eventually get a pulse.
Police said the little boy and his mother were visiting the home where the accident happened.
"The resident of the home was here with her two children. The mother of the victim, at this point, she was over here with her two children, as well. So there was four kids total, and the two parents," Sgt. Zac Pruett said.
Word on the boy’s condition is not yet available.
