Though the Waco-McLennan County Public Health District ran out of H1N1 vaccine shots, it still has 1,500 does of the H1N1 FluMist vaccine left over after a three-day vaccination campaign.
The FluMist is not being offered at the health district. However, plans are being made to release the remaining vaccines.
The delivery date and the quantity of the next shipment remain unknown.
FluMist is a gentle nasal mist that requires a quick spray in each nostril.
Only healthy children, adolescents and adults ages 2 to 49 can get FluMist.
