The Cedar Park Center announced Monday that George Strait will perform at the new facility this fall.
City leaders said they're working to make Cedar Park an entertainment destination, and the debut concert is a promising start.
"This concert shows the great quality of entertainment that is being sought and being brought to the Cedar Park Center, and this concert will be just the first of many of this caliber," Cedar Park Mayor Pro Tem Matt Powell said.
The concert is set for September 25. Tickets go on sale June 20.
