Crews continue to work to clean up a paint spill after an early Thursday morning wreck on Interstate 35 in Round Rock.
The Department of Public Safety said all lanes are open but between the hours of 9 p.m. Thursday and 5 a.m. Friday, two lanes will be closed to complete cleanup.
The incident involved a TxDOT road striping vehicle.
The incident happened in the northbound lanes of the interstate near SH 79 around 5:30 a.m.
According to Round Rock police, no one was severely injured, but several hundred gallons of lane-striping paint were spilled on the road.
The paint is water-soluble and nontoxic.
Crews first steam cleaned the roadway and said if that did not appear to remove the paint they would pour asphalt.
