State fire investigators said they are looking into whether the person who started the fire at the governor's mansion Sunday started it alone or with others.
State Fire Marshal, Paul Maldonado said during a press conference Monday that nothing clearly indicates how many people were involved.
"We are continuing to look at videotape throughout the day and we have evidence collected on the scene," he said. "We are confident we'll find the perpetrator that has caused this damage and committed this crime."
When asked how many Department of Public Safety personnel were staffed during the fire, DPS officials said they do not reveal information about staffing resources pertaining to the government property.
The DPS is currently performing a review to determine if the manner in which they responded to the fire was appropriate.
Maldonado said they have video that shows the fire as it started between 1-2 a.m. Sunday and the flare-ups that occurred in the afternoon. The fire that flared up Monday has been extinguished.
Federal, state and local crews were on the scene all night investigating the fire and reviewing surveillance video tape.
