Paperwork from 20 precincts in Williamson County was mistakenly sent to the wrong place after caucuses last week, according to Democratic Party leaders.
The paperwork was supposed to be separated into three piles -- one for the state, one for the county and one for local precinct records.
Instead, all of it was sent to state headquarters.
Williamson County Democratic Party Chair Richard Torres said they had inexperienced people running the conventions and they must not have followed directions.
None of the information was lost, and the paperwork has been sorted out.
But votes from those 20 precincts have yet to be counted.
