Republican presidential candidate Mike Huckabee made a campaign stop in Waco Thursday.
"All Baylor students who are here, raise your hands," Huckabee said, addressing the crowd.
It was a full house at the Waco Hilton, packed with young Republicans. Hundreds more people stood outside, unable to get through the doors.

In a traditionally conservative college town like Waco, Huckabee said he is encouraged by the enthusiasm he's seen from young voters.
"The next president can really make a difference in a positive way for their future,” he said. “The next president can really mess their future up."
He even has some young blood on his campaign trail, like Baylor junior Jordan Powell.
"I was offered the opportunity to come work on the campaign," Powell said.
Powell took a hiatus from school for a year to be Huckabee's assistant campaign manager.
He introduced the governor before his speech on Thursday.
"The young vote will be big, so it's great to show that Mike Huckabee can bring students out like that," Powell said.
Students and older voters alike heard about Huckabee's plans to do away with the IRS and implement a fair tax.
"Folks, if we implement the fair tax, this 10-40 form, here's what we can do with it..." Huckabee said before ripping the 10-40 form to shreds and throwing it up in the air.
The crowd responded in thunderous applause.
Huckabee emphasized the importance of keeping jobs here in America, to boost the economy.
He also challenged the notion that the Republican nomination has already been decided.
"I'm willing to lead this country, but I can only do it if you help us win Texas Tuesday," Huckabee said.
Although Huckabee's national media attention has dwindled, the crowd in Waco showed their support for the conservative Arkansas governor, who is trying to take his message all the way to the White House.
Huckabee has several more campaign stops planned for Texas in the next few days including Amarillo, Lubbock and Houston.
