An auto-pedestrian accident occurred Thursday morning, leaving a man with life threatening injuries.

Police said a man was standing in the center lane of Burnet in the 8500 block, when he was hit by a brown pickup turning left.

The man fell into northbound lanes of traffic and was hit by another pickup and a white car.

The white car left the scene. It's described as a 4-door compact sedan with tinted windows.

The victim was taken to Brackenridge hospital with life threatening injuries.

Burnet Road near Anderson has been reopened.
