Organizers at this year’s Austin City Limits Festival are reigning back attendance.
They'll reduce the daily capacity by 10,000. Last year, the festival reached a single-day record attendance of 75,000.
Organizers made the decision in response to feedback from last year's show. They hope the cut in attendance will create shorter lines.
Other improvements promised for this year include more shade, better transportation to the festival and improved sound during performances.
A limited number of three-day passes go on sale Friday, April 15 for $85. The festival runs Sept. 23 – Sept. 25. So far, more than 130 bands are confirmed to perform.
