Watch the fireworks LIVE on News 8
If you can’t make it out to Auditorium Shores this Saturday for the annual H-E-B Austin Symphony Orchestra concert and fireworks display or out to Dell Diamond for the Freedom Fest, News 8 will broadcast coverage of both events.
 • On News 8 from 9:20-9:30 p.m. Saturday, you can watch the fireworks live from Round Rock followed by the symphony show from 9:30-10 p.m.
If you are planning on heading down to Austin for the festivities, organizers encourage you to keep a few things in mind. You’re encouraged to bring drinking water, bug spray and blankets. Barbecue grills, alcohol as well as glass and Styrofoam containers are not allowed at Auditorium Shores.
In addition, folks are advised to leave pets at home.
If you are driving down, you are urged to park north of Lady Bird Lake to ease congestion south of the lake or take CapMetro.
