The Silicon Labs Austin Marathon Relay is the kickoff of the fall racing season in Austin, offering runners a chance to compete on team of five at a variety of distances.
The relay is made up of a 12k, 10k, 10k, 5k and 5k, providing a distance for everyone. Each leg of the race begins at Auditorium Shores.

This year's winning team will set the Guiness Book of World Records mark for the fastest ever five person marathon relay. The race is also part of the Austin Distance Challenge this year, with runners having the option of completing one of the five legs.
The race benefits Junior Achievement of Central Texas.
