Yellow filled the streets of downtown Austin. The 2009 Livestrong Challenge united thousands of runners, walkers, and bikers in the fight against breast cancer this weekend.
The 5k was held in downtown Austin, and bikers met in Dripping Springs for a 10, 20, 45, 65, or 90 mile ride. This is the Lance Armstrong foundation's signature event held in several other cities too.

What better way to kick off Halloween than with a run?Just throw on a costume and head out to the inaugural Trick to Trot 5k. It's Saturday at 9 a.m. at the Austin State School. Registration for this event is also available on race day.
