You have to toss the running shoes and throw on a pair of heels for the Stiletto Stampede for the Cure 100 yard dash benefiting the Austin affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
The event takes place this Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Hill Country Galleria. Men are invited to throw on a pair of heels and join in.
If biking shoes are more your thing, mark your calendar for the Texas Mamma Jamma Ride.
The inaugural ride kicks off at Reunion Ranch in Georgetown on October 10. The ride also benefits breast cancer. There is a route for every level from 10 to 100 miles.
Whether it's running shoes, biking shoes, or high heels, take time out of your busy day to activate your life.
