Terriers come in all shapes and sizes. One of the smallest is the Norwich terrier.
Nancy Nosiglia is a second generation exhibitor and breeder and, after a great deal of research, has become a Norwich terrier enthusiast.
"It is their personality. They are fun. They're gay. They're fearless. They are a real dog, sturdy. They go to ground. They hunt. Mine have hunted on this property and every other place I have lived and they are a great companion dog," Nosiglia said.

The Norwich terrier was recognized by the AKC in 1936, but their ratting ancestors date back to England in the 1880's when it was fashionable for students at Cambridge University to have a small canine companion.
Small dogs with big personalities have always been popular and the Norwich is a perfect example.
They weigh less than 12 pounds and are hardy, gregarious, have a practically weatherproof wirey coat and love to be part of the family.
"They will also sleep on your bed, watch TV with you, fall asleep next to you. They are wonderful," Nosiglia said.
The Norwich is the smallest in the terrier group which goes to show good things come in small packages.
