There is one way to ride around Austin in style and stay environmentally conscious at the same time.
Clean Air Limousines is a local eco-friendly limo and car service that runs on biodiesel fuel.
"Biodiesel is made out of vegetable oil, so it is really good for the environment. And also it runs for 27 miles per gallon, as opposed to other cars running at 10 miles per gallon," Clean Air Limousine Operator, Nadia Lamtarafe said.
To many, it may seem like a green limo service may be a bit of an oxymoron.
"The company started in February of 2007, and after long research, being that the City of Austin is an environmentally friendly city, we realized that there is no other eco-friendly limousine service in the city. So we decided it is the best thing to do for our community," Clean Air Limousine operator, Nadia Lamtarafe said.

So far, these eco-friendly limos have been a hit. There are a lot of customers in Austin who love the concept of a green limo service.
"There is a lot of eco-friendly and conscious customers out there and they really like the idea. And they do choose us for not only the most important thing is being eco friendly, but also for our customer service, our luxury cars and very affordable prices," Lamtarafe said.
