It doesn't matter how far along in the pregnancy you are, because this exercise program called "Fit for Baby," is for women of all due dates.
Phoebe Reed is the leader of this program. She helps women stay fit during their pregnancies so they can be strong during their term and after their delivery.
"It is so important, people think that just because you get pregnant you should just stop exercising but it's just the opposite," Reed said. "You don't want to increase your activity level, unless you're a totally sedentary person, but you do want to maintain that fitness so that, you're strong for labor, delivery, and recovery."

Some of the exercises the women work on are: core stabilization, which helps with keeping the abs pulled in and works on balance, bicep curls, and wall sits with diagonal rear flys, which help to pull the shoulders back for posture alignment and helps work on the pelvic floor.
Other ways the program works, is as a support group for women during their pregnancies.
"It's a support group and when we're together we talk. We love to talk and everyone is going through the same things so they're talking about what's going on," Reed said.
The classes are conducted at the Cedar Park Medical Center with the Tiny Toes program Monday and Wednesday for 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
