Strength, calmness and love flow from mother to baby at Yoga Yoga's prenatal classes. It's all about starting the connection early.
"It's breathing together as one, nourishing ourselves, our bodies, our mind, and nourishing our child," yoga instructor Lisa Taggart said.
The practice combines breath work, meditation and strength training.
"It's just a time to build confidence in yourself, to know that you're growing a healthy baby and you're going to do great," yoga student Sarah Wheat said.

Women at all stages of pregnancy can join the classes to share their concerns and to find community.
"It's fun to be in a room with other pregnant women in the same position," Wheat said.
Being surrounded by other big bellies does feel comforting, as does hearing success stories. You'd never guess it by the shape she's in, but Taggart became a mom just two months ago.
"It helped me recover much more quickly because my body was prepared from doing so many squats and standing postures," she said.
Prenatal yoga prepares you mentally too.
"It helps to calm the mind and bring ease into the body so that birth can flow more easily," Taggart said.
Pregnancy, childbirth and motherhood are a journey, and prenatal yoga can fill your sail with positive energy.
Prenatal yoga can be adapted to the physical needs of any expectant mother. It's also a relaxing getaway from the stresses of daily life as a pregnant woman.
