Wearing glasses use to not be so cool, but now they're definitely in style.
Glasses are back and for men. For men, the studious, preppy look is in. So think glasses and a cardigan. For women, just think of it as an accessory.
"A lot of color, a lot of plastic frames are in, lots of designs on the temples and different colors layered in the frame," Stars in Your Eyes Optician, Vickie Vallego, said. "I really think of it as face jewelry at this point. It's not something that's just functional, it's also an accessory."
Stars in Your Eyes has a huge selection of glasses, but they also do something called Lifestyle Dispensing, which is matching your glasses with your personality.

It's the perfect frame to fit your lifestyle.
"So for example if you're a cyclist or you like to hike and you wear contact lenses, this would store your lenses on the day you wear your contact lenses could switch the lenses out to your prescription," Vallego said.
Of course, just one pair won't do. There are usually several options when finding the right glasses.
"Always the longer square, because so many people have a long oval face you want to throw a little angle in there, but really it's so diverse right now. Usually there are five or six frames that look good," Vallego said.
And as far as sunglasses go, even for adults, what's old is new again.
"Everything's popular, but bigger is better. Lots of color, and then of course the iconic Ray Bans are back, even the club master from Tin Cup and the wayfarer from The Watchmen, everything is back," Vallego said.
Don't be afraid to go out on a limb.
