There are five types of dresses every woman needs in her closet.
Leslie Gandy is the owner of a new boutique called The Dress Shop. She has a lot of advice to offer about those five dresses.
The first must have dress is the work dress.
"Since we spend so much time at the office we all want to look good, especially when you work downtown and you want to go out for drinks after," Gandy said.
The print dress is the next must have dress.
"When you want to be remembered you want to go for a great print," Gandy said. "Great prints you'll always be remembered."
The daytime dress is the third dress essential to your wardrobe.
Gandy explained this type of dress is appropriate when you want to look fun but still dress conservatively.

"Whenever you want to look like you're ready for a party, but you want to look more covered and appropriate if you're running into your boss," she said.
Of course, who can forget about vital number four, the little black dress.
The final addition to your collection is the evening dress.
"When you have an evening party a holiday party, this is the look you want to go for," Gandy said.
Arms and arms and arms of bracelets are another trend to keep up with, Gandy said.
