A freak work place accident throws a flavor factory out of whack in "Extract".
The comedy was written and directed by Austin's Mike Judge who made the hilarious "Office Space" nearly 10 years ago.
"Extract" is also a low budget flick, carried by clever casting and humorous dialogue.
It's not an instant classic, but still manufactures quite a few laughs.
Mike Judge knows a thing or two about dysfunctional work place humor.

"Extract" is a blue-collar comedy where the characters don't go over the top trying to act too funny.
Jason Bateman plays the owner, who's considering selling his factory, until a lawsuit over an accident throws the deal into limbo.
The funniest parts take place off the job, as Bateman deals with the frustration of his wife, played by Kristen Wigg, who's never in the mood.
Making things worse, and funnier, is the pool boy he hires who has no problem romancing the wife.
Back at the factory, a strike is brewing and Mila Kunis is scamming on everyone.
J.K. Simmons is another bright spot in the ensemble cast playing an impersonal supervisor.
Ben Affleck also makes an appearance as the best friend bartender who enables much of the shenanigans.
"Extract" isn't as funny as "Office Space", but it's Judge's best movie since.
On the News 8 scale of one to eight, "Extract" cooks up the comical flavor of a five.
