Fine fashion will take the runway this Saturday in downtown Austin.
However, the true spotlight will be on some special Austin children who the second annual "Runway to Heaven" fashion show is geared toward helping.
The fashion show will benefit the Dell Children's Medical Center and the Austin Children's Medical Center.
"We rely on partnerships like this with "Runway to Heaven," Armando Zambrano with the Dell Children's Medical Center said, "who find ways, creative ways, of fundraising for organizations like ours."
"Every dollar is valuable," Mia Washington with Austin Children's Center said. "Twenty dollars can buy a backpack, $25 can feed three children for dinner."
Proceeds from the ticket sales and the clothing purchases will go toward supporting local charities.
Although, all donations will be made in style.
"We're going to have a three-digit code for each look," fashion designer Linda Asaf said. "And if you like that look, you pick up your cell phone, you punch in that three-digit code and it basically lets us know that you want that outfit. And 15 percent of those sales go to the charities."

Asaf said that the organizers of "Runway to Heaven" have worked really hard to incorporate technology into the show "to make it a bit more different and fun and bring in another aspect of Austin that has a big presence."
The runway show will be Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at the Austonian Condos on 200 Congress Ave.
