Halloween may have just ended, but workers already started constructing the Zilker Tree Tuesday.
The famous Austin icon stands 155 feet tall and boasts more than 3,300 lights.
The annual holiday tradition began back in the 1960's.
This year's lighting is expected to take place the first Sunday in December.
The first Sunday in December also marks the beginning of the Trail of Lights, another Zilker Park tradition.
