Road Works is offered by the city of Austin. It has information about events, construction closures and projects that will affect traffic in Downtown Austin.

Capitol Metro lists bus routes and schedules, of course, but they also offer programs to promote commuting options for Central Texans including carpooling, car sharing and more.

News 8 Austin provides a 24-hour traffic channel, Traffic Now, on Time Warner Cable channel 348. Traffic Now shows a rotation of the 20 most common camera views available by TxDOT, plus audio and text information of the latest area closures and detours.

News 8 Austin also airs continous traffic updates every 10 minutes Monday - Friday from 6 a.m. - 9 a.m. and then from 4 p.m. - 7 p.m.
