View event Web site DESCRIPTION: There are children in your own neighborhood who need your help. Hundreds of area kids are removed from their homes due to abuse or neglect every year. God called us to minister to children such as these when he said "whoever welcomes one of us little children in my name welcomes me; and whoever welcomes me does not welcome me but the one who sent me." Mark 10:34 You can answer his call by becoming a foster parent to children who need a loving, Christian home. The Foster Care Program through STARRY provides an opporunity to share Christ**s love with a child needing temporary placement. STARRY is a non-profit organization serving children and families in crisis throughout your area. The City of Austin plans to have the Nueces Bike Boulevard opened by late spring. The boulevard would be a multi-use path where car traffic is discouraged. How do you feel about this?
