Residents could face up to $500 in fines for not adhering to city water restrictions, but not everyone has sworn off watering. Some are able to obey the law and keep their lawns looking green. In the process, much water has been conserved.

Women's shelter in need of community help
The Families in Crisis Women's Shelter in Temple helps women affected by domestic violence. In just a year's time, the shelter has helped more than 100 women. But, victims might have one place less to go if funding doesn't come soon.
